Supervision
Supervision is vital for DSLs and safeguarding teams, providing structured support to reflect on complex cases, manage emotional impact, and maintain professional curiosity.
Effective supervision strengthens decision-making, ensures accountability, and promotes consistent, high-quality safeguarding practice and can prevent early burnout.
New Safeguarding Governor
Training and support for new safeguarding governors are essential to ensure they understand their responsibilities and can provide effective oversight. As volunteers, they may lack prior expertise, so investing in their development builds confidence, strengthens governance, and helps ensure schools maintain robust safeguarding practices that protect children and meet statutory requirements.

From creating engaging safeguarding videos and newsletters to designing targeted training for staff, students, parents, contractors, and volunteers, we ensure clear, practical guidance that strengthens your safeguarding culture across the whole community.

Adam Lubbock
Adam founded Kings River Education in 2018, building on more than 20 years’ experience as a teacher and school leader across a variety of settings. Driven by a strong commitment to safeguarding, Adam supports school DLS, governors, guardianship organisations and sports organisations in their essential role of keeping children safe.
Adam has current experience with safeguarding governance in education, volunteers as a sports safeguarding officer also served for 10 years as Chair and Trustee of the AEGIS.
